Captain America

Emma and I heard Captain America toys just came out. Naturally, we had to rush to the store. Worth every penny.

Triathlon

This is us before the Galena du/triathlon. We had a lot of fun.  Emily and I did the triathlon and Kelley did the duathlon.  Kelley finished well and enjoyed herself throughout all of it.  Emily and I both enjoyed our triathlon.  We had a similar experiences: solid swims, slick bike course due to race, and calf cramps on the run.  Overall, the races went well.  Emily and I are doing the Lake in the Hills triathlon in a couple weeks.

After the race, we went back to the house and had a shrimp boil while we celebrated my mom's birthday.  The next morning was a nice breakfast and hanging outside enjoying the weather while the children played.  It was a great weekend.  Everyone had a great time.  We'd love to do something like this again.

Giants

Emma's t-ball team.  If you have never seen a bunch of 5 year olds play t-ball, the best way to describe it is like herding cats.  Seriously, at an given moment, the kids will be looking and running in random directions.

Too Much Fun

We spent the weekend in Galena with family. Aunt Emily, Kelley, and I competed in the Galena Tri/Duathalon. Then we celebrated Noni's birthday. We spent Sunday buzzing around downtown Galena. Now we are on the road and the kids are fast asleep z
