Emma got her first haircut today. It only took her four years.

Dance!

Emma had her dance recital last night and did a great job. She took each of her dance routines seriously and had fun while doing it.

Happy Birthday Nate

Emma's good friend Nate is having his 5th birthday party today. He is having a super hero party and Emma is having a blast.

Emma just beat me at Hungry Hungry Hippo with her feet. This game is rigged.

Emma's Birthday

We had Emma's birthday party today (pictures to follow). Embarrassingly, I have to admit that I did not realize a correlation of Emma's birth date. Emma's birthday is the same day as Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you). How cool is that!!!!

New Toy

I used some of the birthday and Christmas money I had been saving up to get a GPS/heart rate monitor to run with. Got it today and took it for a spin. The stats you can bring up are very cool. Thus proving I am a data nerd.

Cubs Game

We are at the Cubs game. Top of the 6th and the Cubs are winning 10-2. Emma has been very excited for this game.

After the game, Emma and her cousin Hannah got to run the bases. It was very cool. Even more special was seeing the look of amazement on Emma's face as she stepped onto the field.
